Almost every nervous driver knows the moment: a vehicle honks behind you at a signal, or someone watches you park, and suddenly the things you know perfectly well refuse to happen. Your foot hesitates, your hands stiffen, your mind blanks.
This is the brain's stress response overriding trained skill.
